A Note From Randal
Donna and I are back from Costa Rica. We both had a great time and Donna became proficient in the Spanish language too. We got home without any problems and found we missed the warm weather and the lovely organic breakfasts.
If you are enjoying Silver Shield then make sure you try the new product Silver Shield Gel. Over 30% more potent than the liquid, it is great for those areas you need something to adhere and not roll off.
Until next time,
Brochure Updated With New 2008 Prices
Donna has updated the brochure she’s done for distributors and managers for the past 20 years. It’s a double-sided 8-1/2 x 11 sheet of paper that can be copied and then folded to use as a handout to those asking for a business card or some product info. We insert it when we pay our bills, when we travel we leave them in places where allowed, give one to cashiers, and also place them in the restaurant section of phone books in hotel rooms. There are bulletin boards in many places where you can place them also.
The brochure comes in PDF format for you to print and then copy. Your personal contact information will be added by Donna if you want one. Reply to this email and send me up to 5 lines of information. Don’t forget your email address and website if you have one.
If you’d like to see a sample, let me know and I’ll have her send you one.

Each issue of Nature’s Sunshine’s month email newsletter has a scientific update featured. These articles are great for promoting the NSP product line and giving scientific evidence that herbs and supplements work. Here’s a list of the most recent ones:
March 2008 – Hawthorn and Heart Health The scientific update this month focuses on the heart benefits of hawthorn. Hawthorn, a member of the rose family, has been used traditionally for various heart concerns. A recent study found that hawthorn may help in the treatment of chronic heart failure.
February 2008 – Anti-Aging Benefits of Vitamin D The scientific update focuses on the anti-aging benefits of Vitamin D. A recent study found a relationship between longer telomeres in human blood cells and increased levels of vitamin D. Telomeres are caps on the ends of chromosomes that become shorter with each cell division (age).
January 2008 – The Health Benefits of Algae The scientific update focuses on the health benefits of algae. While algae has been recognized in Asia for many years, it has become more popular in the western diet. Now algae has been spotlighted for its potentially positive effects on stem cells.
December 2007 – The Health Benefits of Cinnamon The scientific update focuses on cinnamon, which has become increasingly popular for its positive effects on blood sugar levels. In a recent clinical study, people with diabetes were given ground cinnamon bark or a placebo for three months.
