Sunshine Family Newsletter
March 7, 2009
A Note From Randal
Nature’s Sunshine has some great education offerings that will soon be coming to your respective areas. For example, here in Virginia, we have the new class available March 21st in Richmond, VA. Other people I have talked to have classes coming within a few months. If they are close by take adavantage of these opportunities. The handouts and modules alone are worth the cost of the class.
We appreciate your being in our Sunshine Family! Let us know if we can be of help to you.
Price Increase – April 1st
Nature’s Sunshine regularly negotiates with its raw material and packaging material suppliers and other vendors in order to provide the best prices possible on our premium quality supplements. A great many of our suppliers have raised their prices in the past 12 months due to a variety of factors. In an effort to minimize the impact of this on our customers and members nationwide, and after months of discussions, NSP was able to limit our 2009 overall price increase to 2.4 percent.
Over 110 products, including 20 of the top 100 sellers, will not see any price increase. In many cases, the increase is 40–60 cents per bottle. Please be aware that specific product lines or categories along with infrequently ordered products have experienced a larger increase. Some of these include vitamin C products and those that contain C as a key ingredient (like NutriCalm®), many Chinese herbs and our homeopathic remedies.
We encourage you to consider your needs and save money by purchasing extra quantities of your favorites and top-sellers before March 31 to enjoy products at 2008 prices.
New Manager Building Program – Sunshine 500
NSP has a new program that is making it possible for a person doing 500 QV monthly to be paid like they are a 1000 QV manager. That’s right they make 27% even though they are at 500 QV. Additionally, people can earn bonuses and their upline managers too. This is a great way to get people who have dropped in the past excited again. Also, a new person starting out won’t have to stretch so far to have a 1000 QV. Instead 500 QV will be enough. March is a pre-launch month. The program enrollment ends July 31st.

Free And Easy Learning About Natural Health
Steven Horne was employed by Nature’s Sunshine for many years and it was obvious he was a gifted teacher. Our first Manager School in November 1987 in Utah, had Steven Horne as our teacher. He has the ability to take knowledge and break it down into simple principles that are easy to read and easy to learn. Although one of his mandates is that we never learn anything until we’ve taught it to somebody else.
One of his publications is Nature’s Field. We are now blessed to have access to 7 years of this subscription online … for free! If you want to learn a lot about natural health principles and the Nature’s Sunshine product line, download issues of this publication and begin your own classroom at home. They are also excellent to be able to pass on as information to those asking questions of you.

Online Natural Health Course
One you can take at your own pace. Not provided by NSP, but a nice option for those who learn well online: http://www.naturalhealthschool.com/
Note: Don’t send any prospective members to this site, because this is an active distributor’s site which they could sign up under and you then would loose them as a customer.
System Upgrade – No Ordering March 14 – 15th
Nature’s Sunshine will be performing a major data center and information technology upgrade this month. From March 13 at approximately 11:40 p.m. to Sunday, March 15 at 11:59 p.m. (Mountain Daylight Time) our systems (including our call center, corporate website and MyNSP sites) will be unavailable. No orders will be taken and other services will not be available during this time. We’re sorry for any inconvenience this may cause but are confident this will be beneficial to our programs in the future. Please plan for this outage accordingly, and place your orders early next week, or beginning again on March 16.
