A NOTE FROM RANDAL
We are so grateful for this much needed rain. I hope and pray that it will
continue and cover the US where it's needed. I planted a pink dogwood and
some onions this year. It's amazing to me how the plants respond to rain
water compared to watering with the hose. Guess they don't like treated
water either. Please read the article on Omega-3 and DHA I believe it
does a good job explaining the benefits and some actual case studies to
prove the points.

Also let's remember tomorrow is Earth Day. The Earth provides beauty all
around us for healing. Everybody has experienced some time in a garden where
scents of the flowers and beauty of color was so uplifting that you felt
like your spirit was being lifted to heavenly places. Maybe you've walked
through the woods and could almost feel God's presence beside you? Have you
ever laughed at the playful antics of squirrels or felt joy as you listened
to a wren singing loudly early in the morning?

If we tune into nature, we see God all around us. It's very healing. You

Regular cleanings of teeth and gums may help prevent pneumonia in nursing
home residents, new research suggests. The researchers of Tohoku University
in Japan, found that residents whose teeth were regularly cleaned had fewer
cases of pneumonia and were less likely to die from the infection.

LAUGHTER AS MEDICINE

God's Word says: "A merry heart doeth good like a medicine, but a broken
spirit drieth the bones." (Proverbs 17:22)
The original Hebrew definitions:
merry = blithe, gleeful, be glad, joyful, making merry
medicine = a cure
The word for medicine is used only once in Hebrew in the entire Old
Testament. I thought that was very interesting. So, we see that a joyful
heart cures, while a broken spirit kills. Did you know that the marrow in
our bones has a lot to do with our immune system functioning to keep us
alive? You've heard of "bone marrow transplants" for some diseases of the
immune system. They are learning more about the Truth of Scripture every day
in the field of medicine.

Laughter is Good Medicine!
"BAPTISM"
A man is stumbling through the woods totally drunk when he
comes upon a preacher baptizing people in the river. He
proceeds to walk into the water and subsequently bumps into
the preacher. The preacher turns around and is almost
overcome by the smell of alcohol, whereupon he asks the
drunk, "Are you ready to find Jesus?"
The drunk answers, "Yes, I am."
So the preacher grabs him and dunks him in the water. He
pulls him up and asks the drunk, "Brother have you found
Jesus?"
The drunk replies, "No, I haven't found Jesus."
The preacher shocked at the answer, dunks him into the
water again for a little longer this time. He again pulls
him out of the water and asks again, "Have you found Jesus
my brother?"
The drunk again answers, "No, I haven't found Jesus."
By this time the preacher is at his wits end and dunks the
drunk in the water again---but this time holds him down for
about 30 seconds and when he begins kicking his arms and
legs he pulls him up.
The preacher again asks the drunk,
"For the love of God have you found Jesus?"
The drunk wipes his eyes and catches his breath and says to
the preacher, "Are you sure this is where he fell in?"
