TEA TREE - GET RID OF MOLD

Nothing natural works for mold and mildew as well as Tea Tree. Use it on a
moldy ceiling from a leaking roof, on a musty bureau, a musty rug, and a
moldy shower curtain. Quality Tea Tree Oil is expensive, but a little goes a
very long way.

Mix up your spray:
2 teaspoons Tea Tree Oil
2 cups water

Combine in a spray bottle, shake to blend, and spray on problem
areas. Do not rinse. Makes 2 cups.

CLEANSING SLOWS AGING

We all age, but the deterioration associated with aging (called, senescence)
is partly under our control. Senescence is speeded up by toxicity and our
bodies' response to it.

The idea that the intestines constitute an endogenous source of toxicity is
as old as the practice of medicine. Intestinal bacteria constitute a
powerful chemical factory, producing toxins and anti-toxins and altering the

The beneficial bacteria which normally predominate in the large intestine
are called Bifidobacteria. Their growth is strongly affected by diet.
Bifidobacteria thrive on vegetable fiber and on the complex sugars known as
fructooligosaccharides (FOS), which are especially concentrated in garlic,

ARSENIC IN DRINKING WATER = CANCER RISK

EPA has announced that the Bush administration will
withdraw the revised arsenic standard for drinking water
issued by the outgoing Clinton administration in January.
The current U.S. arsenic-in-drinking-water standard of 50
parts per billion (ppb) was set in 1942, before health
officials knew that arsenic causes cancer. The proposed rule
would have lowered the acceptable arsenic level to 10 ppb,
the same international standard adopted several years ago by
the World Health Organization and the European Union.

The National Academy of Sciences has determined that arsenic
in water causes bladder, lung and skin cancer, and may cause
kidney and liver cancer, birth defects and reproductive
problems. Drinking water at the current arsenic standard
could easily result in a total cancer risk of one in 100 --
about 10,000 times higher than the risk the EPA would allow
for carcinogens in food. Arsenic also harms the central
nervous system and heart.
