Lecithin ..........................................50 mg To complement the formula, the above ingredients are combined with these herbs: Alfalfa herb is packed with minerals, and can help strengthen the pituitary in particular. Asparagus stems is beneficial to the urogenital tract - concentrated powdered extract. Black walnut hulls are a source of iodine. Dandelion root contains minerals and betacarotene and provides nutrition for the glands responsible for balancing bloodsugar levels. Dong Quai root contains iron and the vitamin E especially needed for female glands. Kelp plant contains iodine and trace minerals, essential for not only the thyroid, but providing nutrients needed for the pituitary, adrenal and pineal glands. Licorice root is a specific for adrenal gland function. Marshmallow root is mucilaginous and has been called a "female tonic" herb - concentrated powdered extract. Parsley herb helps with the adrenal, pituitary and prostate glands. Parthenium root acts similarly to Echinacea to support the immune system. Schizandra fruit has adaptogenic properties (i.e., "balancing and strengthening"). Eleuthero is especially useful for the pituitary, adrenal and prostate glands.
