Here's a brief look at the seven herbs in JP-X:

Dong quai root is considered an aromatic, which means that it is soothing to the body while contributing to good digestion.It also contains bitter compounds that have helped many women. It is an herbal source of iron, magnesium and niacin.

Golden seal root is very popular for meeting special nutritional needs of the immune, digestive and glandular systems. It is also a favorite for the liver, but is best taken in capsule form because of its "bitter" reputation - concentrated powdered extract!

Juniper berries contain aromatic compounds that assist the body when it needs to increase urine production. It also helps digestion. Because of its astringent qualities, it has shown great value in providing some of the nutrients needed by the body to help shrink swollen tissues.

Uva ursi also contains astringent compounds in addition to bitters. It is one of the best-known herbs for the urinary tract; Native Americans used uva ursi for this purpose with outstanding results. It is also used extensively by women.

Parsley herb is popular for the digestive and urinary systems. Not only does it contain vitamin A and C, but it also has important chlorophyllins for the health of the blood. It is an herbal source of potassium, calcium and magnesium. Its minerals and bitter compounds are nutrients that help reduce stress in the body.

Cystitis - I had a cat that had continual urinary infections and the antibiotics weren't doing anything to stop it.
