Whitening Teeth
3 T. baking soda
1 teaspoon sea salt (regular salt can be substituted)
Mix these ingredients in a small container with a
lid that is wide
enough for you to dip our toothbrush into. Then add
6 drops
Peppermint
Essential Oil and 6 drops Lemon
Essential Oil. Put the
lid on and shake well. Place on counter and tap top
to remove
anything clinging to the lid. When you're ready to
use it, dip your
wet toothbrush into the powder and brush. |
Healthy Teeth & Gums Tooth Powder
3 T. white or green clay
1 T. salt
Mix the clay and salt together in a small container
with a lid that

Lavender-Peppermint
Soap Recipe
4 ounces clear, solid glycerin
(usually about 3 cubes)
15 drops Lavender
5 drops Peppermint
soap molds
coloring (optional)
Melt glycerin in the microwave (about 40 seconds)
or in a double boiler. Pour hot glycerin into the soap molds. Allow
it to cool slightly, then drop in the essential oils and coloring. Glycerin
blocks and soap molds are available at craft stores. Soap hardens
in about one hour. |

Mosquito Repellant
5 drops Eucalyptus
2 drops Geranium
4 drops Lemon
I drop Peppermint
1 tablespoon Herbal
Trim
1/4 teaspoon Massage
Oil
1.5 ounces (3 T.) purified water (distilled water
is fine)
Pour all ingredients
into a 2-ounce spray
bottle and shake to blend. Spray on exposed areas of

Magical Disappearing
Bath Oil
Nourish your skin with this amazing
bath oil that mixes into your bath water and leaves you soft,
moisturized, and fragrant.
1/2 cup Massage
Oil
1/8 cup vegetable glycerin
1/8 cup castile soap
8 drops Bergamot
6 drops Rosemary
3 drops Patchouli
3 drops Peppermint
Combine ingredients in a large,
glass measuring cup for easy mixing and pouring. Mix with a wire
whisk until ingredients are thoroughly blended. Store in a container
with a narrow neck, so it will be easy to pour into your bath.

Fragrant Skin Rejuvenating Spritzer
Has the healing benefits of essential oils and green tea's antioxidant
properties for your skin. Add 1 Green Tea Bag or
1 capsule Green Tea Extract to 1 cup of boiling water and allow to brew for five minutes. Remove teabag if you used one. Add preferred essential oils from below. Pour into an 8-ounce pump spray bottle and store in the refrigerator. Mist lightly on face and body to refresh, cool and rejuvenate skin.
Vitality Blend: 2 drops each
of Lemon and Peppermint essential
oils
Calming Blend: 2 drops each
of Lavender and Chamomile essential
oils

Dry Chapped Skin
Make a skin moisturizer using 40
drops of Lavender to
four (4) ounces of any carrier or massage oil.
Use daily on problem skin areas. Lavender
is very healing and is used in burn clinics in Europe. |
Jasmine Perfume Recipe
1 drop Jasmine
2 drops Sandalwood
1 drop Ylang Ylang
1/2 - 1 teaspoon Massage
Oil
1 Roll-on
Bottle
Blend and apply to pulse points. |

Bath Salts
Bath salts are invigorating when used as a body scrub
or added to the tub. They open pores, allowing the skin to
absorb healing trace minerals and vitamins. Rosemary stimulates
circulation and clears the mind.
Place the following ingredients in a plastic bag and
knead together till well blended.
1/2 cup sea salt
1/2 cup baking powder
1 teaspoon sunflower oil
6 drops Rosemary essential
oil
Add 1 to 2 tablespoons to running bathwater or use
as a body scrub. |
Mouth Wash for Gingivitis
3 drops Thyme
2 drops Eucalyptus
3 drops Chamomile
3 drops Peppermint
Dilute Essential Oils in 1 teaspoon of Brandy and add mixture to a
glass of warm water. Swish well around the mouth and don't swallow.
Then add 3 drops of Chamomile and
2 drops of Lavender into
1 teaspoon of Aloe
Vera Gel and rub some over the gums.

Showering and Shower Gel
Put 1 or 2 drops of favored or appropriate essential oil for therapeutic benefits on wash cloth and rub your body with it while showering. Use Sunshine Concentrate with your favorite essential oil as a pH balanced shower gel - great for your skin. Lavender is a great choice for bedtime showers and healing to the skin. Rosemary is good for oily skin. Lemon is great for a perky wake-up in the morning - promotes alertness and mental clarity. |
Foot and Toenail Fungus
Mix 2 drops of Tea
Tree Oil and 1 drop of Lavender
Oil in your palm and spread it between
the toes and around the nails.
For the rest of
the feet, mix 5 drops Tea
Tree Oil and 1 drop Lemon
Essential Oil in 1 teaspoon of Massage
Oil (or olive oil) and rub on the feet
morning and night. Keep the feet dry and use
only cotton or wool socks. |
Lice Remover
8 drops Geranium
Essential Oil
7 drops Rosemary
Essential Oil
1 tablespoon Jojoba
Oil
This formula helps kill lice and nourish the hair and scalp. Mix
and massage the entire formula vigorously into the hair
and scalp before bedtime. Wrap a towel around the head
with plastic cap if possible, and leave on overnight. Repeat
