Ingredients
Fizz Active-Immune’s unique effervescent technology makes it instantly and highly bioavailable.
Beta-glucans boost
the immune system by stimulating macrophage functions, activating
T-cells and modulating the induction of cytokines. Beta-glucans are long-chain polysaccharides widely found in nature in sources like cereal grains (including oats and barley), as well as in yeast, bacteria, algae and mushrooms. Studies show they stimulate macrophage functions, activating T-cells and modulating the induction of cytokines. Studies also show that beta-glucans also increase total immunoglobulins in the blood.
Arabinogalactan is a water-soluble
polysaccharide that stimulates natural killer cell and macrophage
activity and supports the growth of friendly bacteria in the
intestinal tract.
Echinacea is reported to have immune system-stimulating effects. Echinacea increases phagocytosis and lymphocyte activity. Polysaccharides in echinacea seem to induce macrophages to produce interferon and other important immune system chemicals. Echinacea is also reported to inhibit fungal growth.
Elderberries contain several flavonoids, including anthocyanidins, which are thought to have immuno-modulating effects.
Korean Ginseng is an adaptogenic herb that supports the body during times of stress. Korean ginseng appears to support immune function by stimulating natural-killer cell activity.
Vitamin C is well-known for its role in maintaining healthy immune function. Vitamin C seems to increase phagocyte function, T-lymphocyte activity, white blood cell mobility, and may possibly increase interferon and antibody production.
Zinc is responsible for the function of neutrophils, natural killer cells, and T- and B lymphocytes. Even a mild zinc deficiency can adversely affect T-cell function and upset overall immune function.
Potassium works with other nutrients to produce many beneficial physiological effects. This mineral is essential for the proper function of all cells, including immune cells.
Recommended Use
Adults: Add two tablets to ½ cup
of water (4-6 fluid ounces). Let dissolve for 2-4 minutes and
